A brave new world

“Why is everyone saying "it’s a new world"?”

First of all the “old world” is gone, so by default it means that we are in a new world.

Whatever we try, we won’t be able to resuscitate the “old Human system” that was built on excessive overconsumption and the ruthless exploitation of one another and Nature. The previous socio-economic system was already falling apart even before the virus arrived.

Such an artificial, inhuman, destructive system has no right to exist in Nature’s deterministic, lawful system that is governed by strict laws sustaining balance and homeostasis - without which life isn’t possible.

In our generation we reached such a level of destructive activity that Nature can’t tolerate is any longer. The Coronavirus is a warning from Nature, inviting us to change.

Thus we in a new world - potentially at least if we are willing to act accordingly - as now Nature’s evolution expects us to take our Human development into our own hands.

So far we have been blindly, instinctively developing driven by the inherently selfish, exploitative ego, which was a good engine to drive Human progress. But now in the new, global, integral conditions evolution forced on us the ego has become completely self-destructive.

This is why we have to adjust and open a new, conscious path of development, where we learn how to act, exist above and against the inherent ego. And this will make us “truly Human”, beings that act above instincts, similar to Nature.
